Bernard Lavigne, Rugby PlayerA sports founder. Bernard Lavigne was not only a business visionary, but also a professional rugby player. His determination on the field was reflected in the way he built European Sourcing.

2002

Birth of European SourcingChristine and Bernard LAVIGNE founded BL International in 1994, specializing in the resale of promotional products for insurance and pharmaceuticals. To facilitate product search, they launched a unique catalog, the GuideBook, and founded European Sourcing on 06/08/2002.

2003

The first online catalogAt the beginning, ESourcing was a multi-supplier online catalog allowing direct visualization of product pages related to the search performed. Over 880,000 pages were digitized with the European Sourcing scanner.

2006

Expansion into the first export marketsObserving market trends at European trade shows, the Iberian, German-speaking, Italian, and Benelux markets were identified. The sales team expanded, export development began, and the site was translated into 5 languages.

2008

Birth of ESourcing, search engine for promotional products, and "My Office Solution"A digital transition took place with the creation of ESourcing as a search engine for promotional products, connecting resellers and suppliers. The launch of My Office Solution allowed resellers to have a personalized website, available in 5 languages.

2010

Creation of Premium SourcingInitially named "Les Rendez-vous Business", this event co-organized with Reed Exhibitions brought together suppliers and resellers in an intimate and friendly manner. In 2010, Bernard Lavigne and Guillaume Abou, CEO of 656 Editions, launched Premium Sourcing.

2014

Launch of MyEasyWeb Simply & ProThe launch of MyEasyWeb, a system for creating websites interconnected with supplier product data, followed. MyEasyWeb Simply offered an online product showcase, while MyEasyWeb Pro allowed online orders with more customization options.

2015

European Expansion and launch of MyEasyCatalogEuropean Sourcing expanded its presence in Europe and launched MyEasyCatalog to create detailed product sheets and PDF catalogs. Premium Sourcing was sold to Infopro Digital, but commercialization continued until 2020.

2017

Launch of MyEasyNewsThe introduction of MyEasyNews enabled the management of email marketing campaigns for resellers. The goal was to cover the entire customer relationship cycle, from prospecting to post-sale follow-up.

2018

Technology and InnovationDevelopment of advanced algorithms improved the search engine and platform capabilities. The DATA now integrates 1.2 million product references, providing more accurate and relevant results for users.

2020

Increasingly international dataProduct data is now available in 14 languages and our interfaces in 8 languages, strengthening our international presence and facilitating access to information for our users in over 30 target countries.

2021

Launch of the new MyEasyWeb and ESP2021 was a year of renewal with the launch of the new MyEasyWeb site creation system, more powerful and fully customizable, as well as EuropeanSourcingPlatform, a central dashboard.

2022

2FPCO Bernard Lavigne AwardThe annual 2FPCO Bernard Lavigne Award was introduced to recognize exceptional commitment in the promotional products sector, valuing innovative initiatives and significant contributions to the development of our industry.

2023

Expansion into ScandinaviaEuropean Sourcing marked its presence in Scandinavia by exhibiting for the first time at a key trade show in Denmark, further expanding its European network.

2024

Team GrowthThe team has grown from 4 people in 2002 to over 30 in 2024, reflecting the company's expansion and ongoing success.
